  एक संपृक्त नाट्यानुभव ... सं . ताजमहाल .. !!   आ जवर महाराष्ट्रातील रसिकांनी पौराणिक कथांवर आधारित सं . सौभद्र , मत्स्यगंधा , विद्याहरण यांसारखी अनेक संगीत नाटके पाहीली . पण ऐतिहासिक नाटक व तेही मुबलक नाट्यसंगीत असलेले निदान मला तरी कदाचित प्रथमच बघायला बघायला मिळाले . हे शक्य झाले ठाण्याचे रसिक संशोधक डॉ . विद्याधर ओक   यांच्या लेखणीमुळे !! दहा एक वर्षांपूर्वी त्यांनी जगातले १० वे आश्चर्य मानल्या गेलेल्या ताजमहाल ह्या शुभ्र   संगमरवरातील ऐतिहासिक वास्तूसंदर्भात एक मूलभूत संशोधन पूर्ण केले , ज्यामध्ये मोगल बादशाह शाहजहान याने ताजमहाल ही देखणी इमारत बांधली नसून ती ३०० वर्षांपूर्वीच शिवमंदिर असलेल्या एका राजवाड्याच्या स्वरूपात बांधली गेली होती आणि नंतर इस्लामला अनुकूल त्यामध्ये पुष्कळ बदल करण्यात आले , ह्या खळबळजनक सत्याकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष वेधून घेतले . नेमके हेच सत्य ( किंवा मध्यवर्ती कल्पना ) मुळाशी ठेवून डॉक्टरांनी संगीत ताजमहाल हे प्रेक्षकांना खिळवून ठेवणारे नाटक लिह...

THE MEADOWS…. AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!   The theatre production “Meet Me on the Meadow”, a contemporary Kathak-based ballet by RENU Forum, USA that won audiences across the board, recently came out with a screen adaptation. There was sheer excellence in all forms of arts, and watching this production at home was an unforgettable experience! Honestly, I am an 'uninitiated' towards all Indian dance forms and hence, started watching the show with a clean slate-like mind. But in just a few minutes, it became engrossing and leaving me blown away at the end of show.  I feel inadequate to cover all the artistic aspects of this show.
